  • Ken Davis, Jr EMT

    Ken Davis is the current Facility Director for the Department of Labor’s Philadelphia Job Corp Center. Mr. Davis implemented and established the EMT program, Job Corp’s most successful training program.
    Concurrently, Mr. Davis is the Program Coordinator and an EMS Instructor at Star Technical Institute, providing instruction in CPR, as well as Basic and Advanced Life support education. He provides instructional training and developed on campus EMS response teams for the students at the University of Pennsylvania and Villanova University. His campus EMS programs are highlighted in the state of Pennsylvania as a model for other campus programs throughout the Commonwealth. Mr. Davis has vast experience in Human Resource Consulting and Worker’s Compensation Compliance. He also provides training in EVOC, HAZMAT, HIPPA, Safety training and operations, as well as continuing educational and CPR recertification.
    Mr. Davis was previously the Vice President of Human Resources, Benefits Coordinator, and Health and safety Coordinator of Physicians Choice Ambulance. In this capacity, he handled accident loss and worker’s compensation analysis.

  • Margaret (Peggy) Surratt MBA, MSN, RN, PHRN, CCRN, CFRN, CNRN

    Peggy Surratt is a pediatrics consultant for a major international pediatric referral center in their intensive care unit as well as a specialty care retrieval nurse for both air and ground critical care teams. Ms. Surratt has extensive experience in hospital based critical care and transport critical care. She has lectured and published extensively on numerous pediatric issues and has been involved in the development of national pediatric critical care curriculum. Ms. Surratt has a special interest in pediatric and maternal health in the third world and is involved in international medical relief. She travels to African countries where she works in relief clinics and establishes nursing programs to sustain a high level of medical care and provide local jobs. She is currently pursuing her PhD in nursing and resides in the DC area with her husband and six children where she volunteers in the Maryland EMS system.

  • Carl Homa MBA, RN, EMT-P

    A dynamic leader specializing in assisting organizations and individuals in realizing their true potential. Carl is currently employed by a large university medical center as operations manager for critical care transport.

    He has over twenty-five years experience with Fire, EMS, and Health Care Organizations in a variety of positions, from volunteer, to consultant, to senior leader. His personal style combines the lessons learned as a paramedic, nurse, educator, consultant, leader, and most importantly, a husband and father. Carl believes that through the negotiation of clear expectations and accepting personal responsibility for one’s performance that any goal is attainable.

    Specialties: Public Safety Leadership, Emergency Preparedness, Prehospital Emergency Care, Education, and Critical Care Transport.
